Ravers phoned too much
The youth transmitter Fritz has sent a reporter on the Love Parade with a special headdress than Lovescout: the head adorned a data helmet, equipped with a camera and a mini screened data goggles. That we did not expect a GSM network upload is a pretty easy-to-do business. Each mobile phone user in Berlin, which was during a LoveParade or another green event in the city, knows the resulting network problems. We had therefore contacted in advance with the Telekom for the network concept during the Loveparade.
This insured us that the capacities were expanded according to the experiences of the last-year-old parade, the increase in the D1 mobile phone owners in the corresponding age group and an additional security factor and therefore the likelihood of stuns is very low.
In order to extinguish all contingentities, we also tried to obtain prioritized SIMs that contain a preferred channel allocation. These SIMS will normally only be awarded to BOS services. Since the allocation of these cards but over the RegTP with various regulations and regulations, we did not succeed here, and nothing remained farther than to build the commitment of Telekom.
There was no realistic alternative, as unfortunately in Germany there is no other appreciable mobile data communication network as GSM and the other GSM providers had exactly the same problems.
